Automatic Fire Detection & Alarm System

A fire detection system provides the public an early warning in the event of a fire. Detection is critical to building & fire life safety, which is provided via a series of smoke detectors, heat detectors, beam detectors and vesda heads which are located and spaced as appropriate to the building classification. The devices report to a central fire panel which can be conventional, addressable & aligned with a colour graphics interface. This allows the fire warden and / or brigade to determine exactly where the fire activity has taken, especially important in a large occupied premises as in a high rise building where there are multiple floors & large floor areas. The fire panel provides live online activity of your buildings fire safety status which is indicated on the LED display. In the event of a fire detector operating this will initiate an alarm to the local fire brigade via a private monitoring service. Simultaneously it will activate the building occupant warning system to ensure the early & organised departure of building occupants when the premises is in fire mode.

Additional features of fire panels can include, interface with fire sprinkler system flowswitch, pressure switch, solenoid test valves, pumpset indication, tank indication, magnetic door hold open devices, failsafe devices for automatic doors, smoke exhaust system interface.
